Prince George Community College, 2024-2025
During my time at Prince George’s Community College, I had the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Telecommunications Network Engineer. What started as a student position quickly turned into hands-on experience managing real infrastructure across the entire campus. I got to learn how large networks operate day to day — from resolving connectivity issues to keeping communication systems running smoothly for staff and students.
What I Worked On:
Helped troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues for users across multiple departments.
Installed, configured, and assigned Avaya IP phones for new hires and office changes.
Documented network upgrades and configurations for switches, UPS systems, and other equipment.
Maintained over 400 security cameras, ensuring live feeds and recordings were always accessible.
Managed access control systems for 18 buildings following RBAC principles.
Worked on PoE troubleshooting and switch-level diagnostics to keep devices online.
Supported the IT team in improving communication reliability and response times
2023-2025
I run a Proxmox/Unraid hybrid server environment where I design, deploy, and manage various IT and cybersecurity-related projects. My work focuses on real-world implementation and experimentation — turning concepts into working systems.
Some of the projects you’ll find include:
•Docker container setups and automation with YAML configurations
•Custom Proxmox virtual machine and network configurations
•Backup and monitoring solutions for home lab infrastructure
•Configuration of machines for a server environment
